The Sir Norman Watson Classic
Next Relay Race - Saturday August 12th, 2006
- The race begins with mountain biking from the Train Station to the Chateau and back.
- The Mountain Biker will then hand off to the runner who will run the bow river loop and up along Louise Creek to the tramline and down to the Train Station.
- The runner will hand off to the tandem canoeing team. They will paddle 27km to castle mountain.
- At the canoe finish line the race temporarily stops.
- The road bike race is a staggered start. Total distance 27kms.
Race Day
Registration - 8-9am at Train Station Parking Lot
Race Starts - Saturday, August 12, 2006 @ 10am
Entry Deadline Fri Aug 11th. Entries are limited to 20
Entry fee $200 or $250 with canoe. Must be reserved by July 30th.
Entry fee gets you:
Race T-shirt; draw prize ticket (tons of prizes), admission to race reception (including dinner and 1 free beer).
4 Classes of teams > Open (anyone), mixed (min of 2 women), women (all women)
